It costs about £6.25 to register a .co.uk domain name for 2 years. What you pay for a .com is down to you probably about £12.00 - £13.00 for two years but, - the bottom line for us -, there is not a huge amount to be made from handling the registration of domain names and, to be honest, the cost outweighs the profit unless your dealing with thousands of them per day.

You can register any domain name you want with your usual registrar and, so long as you have access to a domain control panel with them that will allow you to point your domain at our name servers, then all the functionality is retained. We have a number of clients who are currently registered with 123-reg.co.uk. We find the system works quite well. You can register a doman by clicking on the link below and then let us know the domain you have purchased and we will do the rest.
We will give you our primary and secondary domain name servers when you register with us to allow you to point “www.yourdomain.com” or “www.yourdomain.co.uk” at your web hosting space on our servers. Everything else works like magic - E-mail - ftp - www access - it’s all there waiting for you. You can find the details for changing your 123-reg name servers here
So it cost you £6.25 or $12.00 for 2 years with your registrar. You get a renewal for your domain name from your registrar company and the freedom to move your hosting away from us at any time you want if you don’t think we are fulfilling our obligations to you.
All you have to do is register your domain with your usual registrar and point the name servers to us. It’s so Easy
